Updated: COVID-19 cases in Piedmont see slight uptick this week

Updated on Saturday, May 23: Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Piedmont as reported by Alameda County rose to 13 on Saturday, after holding steady at 10 for weeks since mid-April. The count rose to 12 on Friday, May 22.

Oakland has 936, up from 910 reported cases on Friday. Berkeley (which has its own public health department and reports its numbers separately) has recorded 85, up from 78 reported cases on Friday, and 1 death.
