Brownie Troop #30488 held their first virtual troop meeting last week. They were working remotely on their Best Self Badge. The badge is focused on learning about the body, trying out new exercises, healthy eating, and discussing emotions. Piedmont resident Dr. Jacque Jumper also joined the call to talk about her job as a healthcare provider. The girls prepared questions to ask her.
The troop leaders chose this badge as it sounded appropriate in today’s environment. It was fun way to continue scouting as the girls practiced social distancing.
