Alameda County now reporting Piedmont COVID-19 cases

Signs posted around town remind residents of the social distancing and stay-at-home ordinances.

A new COVID-19 dashboard released by Alameda County Health Care Services last week shows that Piedmont has 10 COVID-19 cases as of April 16. City-specific data was not available for Alameda County prior to the rollout of the dashboard.

Oakland has 242 cases, Berkeley (which has its own public health department and reports its numbers separately) has recorded 39 cases and 1 death. Piedmont’s case numbers have not changed over the last couple of days. Apart from a delay earlier this week, the dashboard is updated daily around noon, and reflects data through the end of the previous day.
