The grand opening was held this past Friday evening, March 7. Wine, champagne and treats were served as guests helped celebrate the move back to Piedmont Avenue. (The first store was on Piedmont Avenue, but further down the street.)
The new location is conveniently located two doors down from Piedmont Grocery at 4020 Piedmont Ave. Store hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 11-6pm.
DBFL Board members and volunteers, city officials, PEF and PUSD Board members, new neighbors on Piedmont Ave. as well as old neighbors from Lakeshore Ave. gathered to celebrate. Many volunteer man hours were put in by the board members to create a beautiful new retail space. Opening day on Saturday was very successful and hopes are high for this move to be a good one.
