Giving Campaign Halloween fun at Havens

Havens students Griffin Guidi, Hannah Joerger, Evelyn Joerger, Blake Kwei and Luca Fabi encourage drivers to “Honk” in support of the Giving Campaign

Halloween came early to Piedmont when the Havens Giving Campaign team invited the community to decorate mini pumpkins and trick-or-treat bags at a free event outside Havens on Saturday.

Witches, cats, soccer players and more came together for a fun morning of arts and crafts and encouraged drivers passing by to honk in support of the Giving Campaign.

“I think it’s safe to say there were over 100 honks on Highland Avenue this morning!” said Giving Campaign volunteer and Havens parent, Rita Fabi. Highlight honks were the 33 bus drivers, the Piedmont Police Department and the Piedmont Fire Department.

The Giving Campaign raises essential funds for PUSD. Friday, November 8th is the last day to give to receive a lawn sign! To learn more and to donate visit piedmontedfoundation.org/donate
