WW Dads Club Pumpkin Patch 2019

Now in its 26th year, the Wildwood Dads Club Pumpkin Patch opened on Sunday at Coaches Field. It sells decorative, specialty, and edible pumpkins, and funds are distributed to Piedmont schools.

This year’s pumpkin patch is co-organized by Dads Club president Brian Learn and Marc Bown. “We’re really lucky to have had a huge amount of help setting up on Saturday from dads in the club,” said Bown. “All proceeds help the school community and as you know, this year it’s especially important to chip in.”

Pumpkins will continue to be topped off throughout the month as needed by Oakland-based wholesaler Fuji Melons.

The Giant Pumpkin arrives Oct. 8: For $1 you can try to guess the weight of the Giant Pumpkin. The winner takes it home.
