In advance of upcoming meetings about Crown Castle cell towers, City sends reports, solicits comments

The following was received October 21, 2019:

Dear Piedmonters,

The staff report for the Crown Castle wireless communication facilities (WCF) applications (#19-0188) for the special Planning Commission meeting on October 29, 2019 was posted to the City website on October 18, 2019. This email follows the public hearing notice that I sent to you on October 11, 2019 (see below). The staff report outlines the criteria used for reviewing WCF applications, as well as analysis of the Crown Castle WCF applications.

Please send your comments to both the Planning Commission and City Council to a single email:  citycouncil@piedmont.ca.gov

You may submit comments up to and including the times of the public hearings. Staff recommends sending comments to the Planning Commission, via the email above, by noon on October 28, 2019 so that the emails can be forwarded to the Planning Commissioners before the meeting. Emailed comments to the City Council will be forwarded before the meeting to the City Councilmembers if received by noon on November 15, 2019. Your comments may also be made in person at the meetings or written and sent via U.S. Mail to: Piedmont City Council c/o City Clerk, 120 Vista Avenue, Piedmont, CA 94611. All comments will become part of the public record.

Sincerely,

Pierce Macdonald-Powell
