‘Yes on Measures G and H’ campaign works to gather community support

The campaign committee for parcel tax Measures G and H is counting on civic pride — and perhaps free coffee and donuts — to bring out volunteers for the cause this Saturday. The measures in support of local schools will be on the November 5 ballot.

“We’re planning to deliver a few more flyers to homes in Piedmont this coming Sat. 9/21, so anyone who is interested in helping should meet at Mulberry’s on Saturday 9/21 at 9 a.m. for free coffee and donuts. We also have more phone banking events planned for next week and the coming weeks,” Campaign Co-Chair Christine Wente von Metzsch said.

The Measure G and H campaign launched their website “Yes on G and H” last week. It features a list of frequently asked questions and ways to volunteer or donate. Piedmonters interested in volunteering with the committee may email Hilary Cooper at: hillycoop@gmail.com.

Permanent Vote by Mail ballots will begin arriving in mailboxes the week of October 7th.
