UPDATED MESSAGE FROM AC ALERTS @ 9:31 pm:
The fallen tree has been cleared and Moraga Ave is now clear for all traffic.
Shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, Piedmont residents received notifications that a large tree was down across Moraga Avenue just west of Maxwelton blocking traffic in both directions.
Per an eyewitness, at 8:40 p.m. police were directing traffic around the fallen tree, which had been standing in Blair Park close to the road.
