The Piedmont Seniors, sponsored by the Piedmont Recreation Department, is actively seeking new members to socialize and meet for fun and friendship. The group is getting ready to celebrate their 23rd Anniversary in September.

The Piedmont Seniors meet socially on a monthly basis, usually on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, and meetings include tasty refreshments provided by the members. After socializing, there is a meeting, usually with a guest speaker, a presentation, or special event.  Sometimes meetings finish with a complimentary movie, playing Bingo, or playing some other game. Seniors of all ages are welcome, and we encourage older baby boomers to join. You do not have to be a Piedmont resident to join.

In addition to meetings, the Piedmont Seniors go on monthly excursions to locations of interest in the Bay Area. Previous excursions have included visits to museums, theatre, historic homes, and unique cities, They recently visited the De Young Museum, the Leland Stanford Historic Park and Bodega Bay, to name just a few.

The Seniors meet at the Piedmont Community Hall, 711 Highland Avenue, in the beautiful Piedmont Park. For further information or to receive a current newsletter, please call Janet Epstein at 1-510-420-3070 or email her at jepstein@piedont.ca.gov.
