Introducing our new Senior Living section

Like many of our peers, Exedra staffers have not only received our own AARP cards in the mail, but we’re actively caring for aging relatives. Demographic trends being what they are, more of us will be tackling the real-world challenges of aging sooner rather than later.

Which is why we’re pleased to announce a partnership with a new reporting venture out of Washington, D.C. that focuses on the needs of caregivers and the elderly. News for the Ages was launched in late 2018 by MemoryWell, a social enterprise that grew out of former TIME magazine correspondent Jay Newton-Small’s experience caring for her father, who had Alzheimer’s disease. News for the Ages taps into a deep pool of journalists and experts and their news about trends, policies, and innovations designed to help our growing population of seniors and their caregivers. We’ll be sharing some of those articles on our website every week.

We’ll also be adding more original content to the Senior Living section on the Exedra, so please stay tuned. We welcome your thoughts and ideas on on this new venture. Please let us know what you think by leaving a comment below or emailing news@piedmontexedra.com.
