Whether you have kudos or a complaint, there’s now an easy way to communicate with your elected school board representatives.
An email to firstname.lastname@example.org will automatically send your message to all five Board members so each member will be able to view the email. Previously, sending emails to the Board required emailing each one individually.
As official Board correspondent, Trustee Cory Smegal will reply to all of the emails that are submitted. Any emails sent to the school board address will be part of the public record and available for review. “This should make it easier for the public to communicate with all of us,” said Smegal.
To avoid potential Brown Act violations, the email address is set up so that individual school board members cannot send their own emails to the address.
