April 1 — Oakland International Airport was on a “yellow alert” Monday morning after smoke was reported on a flight to Las Vegas.
Southwest Airlines Flight 2541 left Oakland around 8:45 a.m. but had to turn around. Airport spokeswoman Keonnis Taylor said the plane was scheduled to land around 9:45 a.m. No injuries had been reported as of Monday at 10 a.m.
