Students, parents, teachers, and administrators from Piedmont Unified School District drove up to Sacramento on Wednesday, April 3 to personally deliver a message to California legislators: “Our Students Deserve More.” The rally was sponsored by the Alameda County Office of Education and the Easy Bay Coalition for Public Education as part of an effort to demand greater funding for public education. California ranks 41st in the U.S. in per-pupil spending.
