L to R: Nancy Scott, Mayor Bob McBain, and Park Commission Chair Betsy Goodman

Nancy Scott, the Civic Projects chairman for Piedmont Garden Club, presented a check for $5000 to Mayor Bob McBain and Parks Commission Chair Betsy Goodman at the Parks Commission meeting earlier this month on April 3.

The donation will help fund lights to circle the plaza at the Piedmont Community Center.

Founded in 1923, and with deep roots in the Piedmont community, the club donates annually in support of the City’s parks and civic projects. Learn more about Piedmont Garden Club’s impact on the local community HERE.
