“Just Mercy”: Readmont book discussions this week

Readmont lunch discussions about the book “Just Mercy” by Bryan Stevenson will take place with facilitator and English department chairperson Beth Black on PHS’s campus in room 30, on Tuesday (4/30), Wednesday (5/1) and Thursday (5/2). Bring your lunch.

Our evening community Readmont discussion is May 1, 7-8 pm in the PHS Library.  Students, staff, parents and community members are all welcome.

We will have two panelists, Will Fitzpatrick, former Equal Justice Initiative partner who overlapped with Bryan Stevenson in his time there, and Christina Spaulding, a current Deputy State Public Defender for death penalty cases at the Office of the State Public Defender of California.
