Birding festival begins at Point Reyes

The Point Reyes Birding and Nature Festival begins Friday along Point Reyes National Seashore, organizers said.

Festivities get started at 7 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The festival celebrates the spring migration of birds and other wildlife along the Pacific Flyway.
