Piedmont High School’s badminton team continued its season, losing to San Leandro on March 19 after beating Hayward on March 15.
The Highlanders are now 3-2 on the year.

Piedmont beat Hayward, 11-4. The Highlanders swept boys singles, boys doubles, and mixed doubles. Lucian Lim won at No. 1 singles and Joseph Haggerty won at No. 2. David Zhou and Thomas Yu won at No. 1 boys doubles. Jeremy Yiu and Joy Zhou won at No. 1 mixed doubles.

Isabelle Griffis claimed the No. 1 girls singles match. Christine Zhou and Vanessa Tang won the No. 1 girls doubles match.
Piedmont lost a close match to San Leandro, 8-7. Haggerty again won his match, as did David Zhou and Yu. The Highlanders again swept mixed doubles with Yiu and Joy Zhou taking the No. 1 match.
