The Piedmont Police Department posted the following information on its Facebook page today. We will provide updates if we learn more.
“We want to provide you with important information regarding an armed home invasion this morning. Three suspects rang the doorbell of a home in the 500 block of Scenic Avenue. When a 9 year old opened the door, the suspects pushed their way into the home.
Although the suspects quickly fled from the home we want to share these images to provide a more detailed description. Take a good look at these surveillance photos. The suspects are described as three teenage African-American boys. They were wearing gray hoodies, jeans, and one was armed with a silver semi-automatic handgun.
Our officers have been on scene all morning and we are working on a getting a vehicle description. Call our department if you have any information and please share this post.”
