National Night Out, 2019

On the first Tuesday in August, you’re invited to form part of Piedmont’s National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign to help strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and:

Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness

Generate support for and participation in local anticrime efforts

Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
Last year 7 neighborhoods participated in this event and we hope to double the number of participating neighborhoods.
The Piedmont Police Department encourages you to host a neighborhood gathering or a block party.
