LWV Piedmont lunch and speaker

The LWV Piedmont is hosting a holiday luncheon with guest speaker, Anastasia Edel, a Russia expert & instructor at UC Berkeley. The talk will focus on the Rollercoaster of US-Russian Relations. Ms. Edel is the author of Russia: Putin’s Playground, a concise guide to Russian history, politics and culture. Her writing has appeared in The New York Review of Books, The New York Times, Project Syndicate & Quartz and World Literature Today. Speaker and lunch is $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
