Girl Scout Pinewood Derby Car Making Workshop

The 15th Annual 2019 Girl Scout Pinewood Derby is right around the corner! Troop #31765, PMS 8th grade troop, is again running the Girl Scout Pinewood Derby as a troop fundraiser for their 8th grade trip and hope to have lots of participation again this year.The Girl Scout Pinewood Derby is for Girl Scouts of all ages. Girl Scouts will race within their Girl Scout levels and we will have trophies for 1st and 2nd with medals for 3rd place within each level. We’ll have fun awards for each racer and everyone will receive a Derby patch. We will also have a Friends & Family Race. The registration fee is $17 again this year, and includes entrance to our car making workshop, practice day, Derby as well as patch and certificate.
The Car Making Workshop Saturday, January 12th, 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Piedmont Middle School in Room 125. The Pinewood Derby is February 2th, 3:00pm – 6:00pm at Piedmont Community Church. There will again be a practice race, it will be held on Saturday, January 26th 10:00am – 12:00 at Piedmont Community Church.
