Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir offers sleepaway camp for 7-10 year olds.
Does your child sing in their room, the car, the store, on walks — in short, everywhere? If you’re looking for an inspiring, nurturing and fun sleepaway camp this summer for your 7-10 year old (ages as of July 1, 2024), consider Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir’s Camp Joyful Voices this July.
Choir Camp builds and strengthens friendships while young singers combine the fun of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, crafting, and immersing themselves in the world of music. Our camps take place at the scenic Walker Creek Ranch in Marin County, a sprawling 1700-acre site with diverse landscapes, 20 miles of hiking trails, and a fantastic 4-acre swimming hole. Campers spend time in rehearsals, playing music games, learning musicianship and theory, and are encouraged to sing by the lake, during hikes, and around the campfire. There are two sessions offered, one week each, and it’s a wonderful introduction to choir or a place for your singer to grow in their musical learning in a fun environment.
Camp Joyful Voices is open for registration now – and early registration and sibling discounts are available.
Please share our camp information with any children or youth interested in singing. No prior experience in choir or PEBCC programs is needed to join in the fun. It’s a wonderful way to spend the summer and engage in choir!
