Veteran’s Hall was packed with families of young children on Dec. 31 for the Piedmont Recreation Department’s annual “Noon Year’s Eve” party. Special guest East Bay Vivarium kept the young party-goers entranced with reptiles, and PRD staff hosted photo booths and a balloon drop countdown. It all wrapped up at the eminently reasonable hour of 12:30 …. p.m.
