Pet: Ella
Family: Paula and Frank Silver
Age: 2.5
Breed: Bernedoodle (cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle)
Adoption story: We met Ella’s cousin Bruin during the pandemic when he was 6 months old. He was the most loving and friendly dog. Stole my heart away. About a year later our oldest tagged me in a puppy post and said “Mom, you need this.” It ended up being a pup ready to go home by Bruin’s breeder in Oregon. Best impulsive decision of my life!
Likes: Ella loves everyone and is beyond sweet. Along with tennis balls and treats, she also loves running on the beach. She still has her baby blanket and the first toy we bought her. Every now and then she will grab from her room and bring to us for extra love.
Dislikes: Baths! When she goes out with her dogwalker who runs her on trails, and when she comes home dirty and sees the look on my face, she hightails up our tiered backyard as far away from me as possible.
Interesting facts: She is “unfurnished” meaning she does not have a typical coat of a Bernedoodle which has her shed a little yet her coat doesn’t need to be trimmed.
