Piedmont High School’s Back-to-School-Night Chili Cook-off competition returned for another year on Wednesday evening on the PHS campus. Team “Girls on Fire” — seniors Jane Hempeck, Sara Broach, and Ruby Guzdar — took top honors again this year. The event first started in 2019 as a school community building event but was derailed until 2022 due to the pandemic.
