Piedmont Adult School is offering a free workshop to prepare young adults 18 and over for their first professional job search. The workshop, called Get Hired! Proven Job Search Tools and Strategies for Emerging Professionals, will be held Saturday, June 10, 11am – 2pm.
The three-hour workshop will cover job search techniques, interviewing skills, and ways to develop a personal brand. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the job market and the confidence to launch their career.
Instructor Jason Hecker is a seasoned workforce development instructor and program manager. He has more than 20 years of experience helping individuals develop the skills and tools they need to succeed in the rapidly-changing job market.
