Although some Regional Parks along the bay shoreline and delta have reopened (see list below), all others remain closed until further notice while storm damage is assessed and debris is cleared, according to the East Bay Regional Park District. Recent storms have caused significant flooding, mudslides, and downed trees. Potential hazards remain at closed parks.
When entering parks, visitors are encouraged to be mindful of conditions, exercise caution, and where possible, stay on paved trails.
Reopened Parks:
- Antioch / Oakley Shoreline
- Bay Point
- Big Break
- Carquinez Strait
- Coyote Hills
- Crown Beach
- Hayward Shoreline

All other parks remain closed.
Residents should not enter closed parks. Public safety personnel and equipment may not be able to respond to emergencies due to road and trail conditions. Anyone entering Regional Parks when closed is subject to citation or arrest for violation of the Park District’s Ordinance 38.
