The driver gave a second name, which was found to be an alias for a third name. The third name was found to be on probation in Alameda County for robbery, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation parole and was a parolee at large with a no bail warrant, according to Captain Monahan.

Police found two glass pipes during a search of the vehicle. The driver was taken to Alta Bates Summit Hospital and after being medically cleared, he was taken to Santa Rita Jail.

The officer followed a set of skid marks to the area of Glen Avenue and Panama Court where he found a Silver Infiniti G37 with major front end damage. A female was observed asleep in the driver’s seat. The officer made contact with the driver.

According to the arresting officer, “She admitted to driving the vehicle and that she hit a vehicle. She had slurred speech, did not know where she was, sweating continually and watery eyes.”

A search of the vehicle found an empty bottle of Fireball whiskey. The woman refused to take a field sobriety test. A warrant was secured for a blood draw and the driver refused that as well. She was taken to Santa Rita Jail and was booked for DUI, disobeying a court order and delaying officers.
