Alameda County continues to work through ballots. Latest (last?) results were posted on Friday evening at 7:55 p.m. The county had not updated its unprocessed ballots information as of 8 p.m. Friday so it’s still unclear how many more ballots remain to be counted.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported Friday night that in the District Attorney race, Pamela Price, who had been behind in early results, pulled 53% of the 428,233 votes counted as of Friday night, overcoming Chief Assistant District Attorney Terry Wiley’s 47%. No news yet about the Oakland mayoral race.
Piedmont’s voters comprise just under 1% of total registration in the county, according to City Clerk John Tulloch. Piedmont has roughly 8,800 registered voters. According to Tulloch, in the November 2018 election, 81.95% of registered voters in Piedmont cast ballots and in the November 2020 election, 89.95% of registered voters in Piedmont cast ballots.
