According to the National Weather Service on Friday, rain will start in the North Bay Saturday night then slowly spread over the Bay Area Sunday with peak rain Sunday night into Monday.
On Friday night, the City of Piedmont said the Sept. 18 Piedmont Harvest Festival’s outdoor events were canceled due to the rain forecast, but its Edibles Contest was still on.
