Adoption story: Sydney was a 9 week-old rescue from Hop Along in Oakland. She was from a litter of 9 pups and sometimes we run into her siblings at beaches, trails and around Piedmont.

Likes: Swimming, playing ball, belly scratches, barking, naps, her two cat brothers, squirrels, Paisley Dog (the Rivera’s dog), dog beaches, the Shell Station, Ace Hardware and all the treats on Grand and Lakeshore.
Dislikes: Mailmen, neighbor cats, dogs who poop on her lawn, waiting for her humans to finish their wine on Grand and Lakeshore.
Interesting facts: She is frequently assumed to be a Belgian Malinois by most people in law enforcement or first responders. She loves to swim at Bolinas and go all the way out to the breakers while her dad and sister surf. Sydney loves people so much – she probably thinks she is a person. Some dogs worry her, but she would pull a baby out of a burning building if she could.
