The transition from high school to college can be an amazing adventure, filled with great excitement, new challenges and some uncharted waters. Students have found that the changing social and emotional landscape can be wonderful, but at times, a bit overwhelming. The Launchpad program provides a unique place for high school seniors to pause and reflect about their personal values, goals and priorities, and learn to have healthy relationships. With this foundation, they are empowered to make smart decisions and develop a strong sense of self.
In the upcoming 2022-23 academic year, we are offering separate Launchpad courses for female-identifying and male-identifying seniors.
The Launchpad program next year will consist of approximately eight sessions covering a range of topics related to post-high school life. Sessions are led by professional facilitators — experts in his or her field. The program fee of $275 allows us to secure high-quality facilitators from across the Bay Area. Scholarships are available; all students who want to participate are welcome, regardless of their ability to pay.
Each session will take place on Sunday afternoons and will last 2 hours. We plan to be in person, following CDC and county health guidelines. Depending on the session time slot, we will provide lunch or snacks. Enrollment will be limited due to space constraints and the desire to foster close group connections.
Proposed session dates are the afternoons of Aug. 14, Sept. 11, Oct. 16, Jan. 22, Feb. 12, March 19, April 23, and May 21.

Sign-ups and payments for the program will be on a first-come-first-served basis. Registration is guaranteed for the first 25 students who sign up and pay for each group; a waitlist will be offered after that time.
