Over the weekend, the Piedmont Community Church hosted its annual Treasures Sale to raise funds for the youth Mexico service trip that takes place in April. On this trip, students from Piedmont and Millennium High School travel during spring break to help build homes in an impoverished community in Tijuana.
Update: According to a notice sent to PCC members on March 19, this year’s sale brought in $36,840, a record amount. The funds will support 320 students, parents, and church leaders in building 20 houses for people in need.
