After two unforgettable decades of serving the Rockridge community, the beloved neighborhood institution Wood Tavern is closing its doors. To honor 20 years of incredible memories, fine dining, and community connection, the restaurant is hosting a spectacular farewell event:  “A Pinot Paulée – Celebrating 20 Years of Wood Tavern”  with all proceeds benefiting the East Bay Agency for Children (EBAC). The event will be held on Nov. 20, 2026, from 3-6 p.m. at Park Station in Alameda.

This special occasion will feature an exceptional lineup of over 15 premier Pinot Noir producers, offering guests a unique opportunity to taste a diverse selection of world-class wines. To complement the tastings, the afternoon will feature a curated menu of Country French bites crafted by Rich Wood and his talented culinary team, bringing back classic flavors that defined their journey.

Don’t miss the chance to raise a glass and celebrate the legacy of a local culinary staple. Tickets for this special event can be purchased online.

All proceeds from the Pinot Paulée directly benefit EBAC’s mission to improve the well-being of children, youth and families by reducing the impact of trauma and social inequities. By funding trauma-informed care, family resource centers, and mental health counseling, community members who purchase a ticket are directly investing in a brighter future for over 6,000 East Bay children and families.
