The following letters were received by the Piedmont Exedra in the last five days:

Dear Editor:

Ballots will arrive soon, and we have an opportunity to elect outstanding community members to our Piedmont City Council.

One of your three votes should be for Bill Reichle.

Bill has a deep appreciation for Piedmont. He has lived in Piedmont for 26 years; his wife and daughters went through the Piedmont schools. Bill served on the Piedmont Board of the Education Foundation, Camp Augusta, and Piedmont Soccer Club.

Bill has a wealth of experience navigating complex situations. He worked as an administrator at UC Berkeley for 18 years, listening to stakeholders and finding solutions to longstanding issues.

Bill takes initiative and gets things done. Bill’s priorities for City Council are public safety, fiscal discipline, and community engagement. We are so fortunate that Bill wants to devote his next chapter to serving Piedmont. Bill will work tirelessly to improve our beloved community.

In a town of smart people, it’s helpful to have leaders who are good listeners, thoughtful, and creative problem solvers. Bill’s ability to listen, to work well with others and his dedication make him an unusually effective leader.

Please join us in casting an enthusiastic and appreciative YES Vote for Bill Reichle.

Dear Editor:

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Bill Reichle for the Piedmont City Council. Having known Bill, his wife, Julie, and their two daughters as longtime neighbors and cherished friends in Piedmont, I have seen firsthand his deep commitment to our community.

Bill is exceptionally smart, thoughtful, and compassionate. He brings a sincere dedication to listening to all residents and ensuring that Piedmont remains a wonderful place to live and raise a family.

Through a long and distinguished career at UC Berkeley, Bill has honed key administrative expertise, valuable interpersonal skills, and a calm, collaborative approach to leadership. These qualities will be invaluable as Piedmont navigates upcoming financial and civic challenges.

I particularly admire Bill’s focus on public safety, rigorous fiscal responsibility, and active community engagement. This practical vision will help us strengthen our town for generations to come.

Dear Editor:

We proudly support the candidacy of Bill Reichle for City Council. As Piedmont residents for nearly 50 years, we’ve always been grateful  for the dedicated service of our elected public officials — the people who step up to run for challenging offices, and the people with the integrity and the competence so critically needed to get important  community work done, and done right.

Bill Reichle has our enthusiastic support because he represents the finest example of one of those step-up people: Motivated by nothing more than a wish to give back to his community, he accepts no outside donations and is self-funding his campaign. Just as important, he brings to his candidacy a rare set of critical skills for the Council  post — an even and generous personality, and an unequaled career background in administrative management. No surprise, then, that Reichle’s candidacy has been endorsed not only by Piedmont’s current Mayor, but by eight former mayors, as well.

Beyond all that, Bill Reichle has developed a thoughtfully progressive program that emphasizes Public Safety, Fiscal Discipline, and Community Engagement. We urge you to check it out in detail at REICHLEFORPIEDMONT.COM.
