It’s National Voter Registration Day: Check your voter status

With less than 50 days away from the midterm elections, now’s the time to make sure you are registered to vote on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2026.

Dates to remember:

October 5, 2026: County elections officials will begin mailing ballots on or before this date.

October 19, 2026 is the last day to register to vote

November 3, 2026: Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

In addition to the governor’s race, other state-level offices, and 14 propositions, Piedmonters will be voting on City Council members (five are vying for three spots) as well as Measure GG, a transfer tax measure.
