City of Piedmont

From a June 30 City of Piedmont press release:

The Piedmont Community Pool will operate on a modified schedule for 4th of July, with lap swim available in the morning and two reserved recreation swim sessions in the afternoon featuring special holiday themed activities.

Fourth of July hours will be:
• 7am-10am: lap swim
• 11am-2pm: Reserved recreation swim
• 2:30pm-5:30pm: Reserved recreation swim

After morning lap swim, the pool will be open exclusively for registered swim sessions, with no lap swim or drop-in open swim. Each session is limited to 125 registered participants. Everyone entering the facility must be pre-registered. Normal facility entry fees (drop-in or pass) will apply. Reservations will be available through the City’s Aquatics registration portal at rec.us/piedmont starting:

• Passholders: June 30, 6pm
• Residents, if space remains: July 2, 6pm
• Non-residents, if space remains: July 4, 7am

Reservations will be held for 30 minutes after the reservation start time. For participants who do
not arrive within 30 minutes, reservations will be canceled so their space can be made available
for other users.

There is no wait list. If someone cancels, the spot will become available again for sign-up. The
number of available spots will be visible on the reservation page.

Regular pool hours resume Sunday.
