Captain Monahan said the driver smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot and watery eyes, per the officer on the scene. The officer also observed multiple open containers of “High Noon” in the vehicle. The driver refused field sobriety tests but his breath test showed a 0.19 percent blood alcohol content, according to Captain Monahan. The driver was taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin.
On June 15, a trespassing report came in for an incident on June 10. The individual said their ex-husband was caught on video surveillance at their residence looking around. The victim is part of California’s “Safe at Home” program and doesn’t want the ex-husband to know where they live.
Captain Monahan said the residence is supposed to be confidential. He added that anybody in a similar situation should, “contact us and an attorney if appropriate.”
