Enjoy an end-of-year concert with PHS’s four ensembles — choir, string orchestra, symphonic band, and jazz band — on Thursday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Alan Harvey Theater. The evening will also feature the presentation of the Senior Music Awards. The ensembles will perform a variety of musical works under the direction of PHS Music Department’s Trevor Chaix.

The evening will feature music from Mulan, Ratatouille, How to Train Your Dragon, and La La Land. The choir will bring the spirit of the ‘60s to life with hits from The Beach Boys, The Mamas and the Papas, and The Beatles. The symphonic band will bring you the music of ABBA, while the orchestra will perform the beloved “Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint-Saëns. And don’t miss the jazz band’s showstopping take on “Love Me or Leave Me”, famously performed by Ella Fitzgerald.

Admission: A $5 donation is requested from adults to support the music program and help cover concert costs. Students attend free.
