Family: The Droessler family
Dog Name: Murray (nicknamed “Furry Murray”)
Age: Murray is about to turn 10 years old. He’s now a mature adult with an entertaining mix of energetic bursts and long, relaxed downtime.
Breed: Yellow Labrador Retriever (½ American, ½ English)

Adoption Story: We welcomed Murray into our family as a puppy in 2016, and he’s been growing up alongside us ever since. He quickly became everyone’s shadow (and personal food vacuum) and is a constant companion in our everyday life at home.
Likes: Murray loves swimming at Crissy Field, “talking” to his neighbors, playing tug-of-war, and doing a bit of strategic counter-surfing in search of leftovers. He gets so excited to see people that he sometimes jumps off all four paws at once and flashes his huge smile. He also loves going on neighborhood walks with his best friend, Murphy.
Dislikes: He’s disappointed when there are no tasty leftovers within reach. Also, despite being a water lover, bath time is definitely not his favorite.
Interesting Facts: Murray is a big, lovable lab with an especially expressive face and a huge grin. He often gets stopped on walks because people want to say hello and pet him. He has an uncanny ability to snag food from the counter, even when it seems out of reach.
