Winners of all ages in Girl Scouts’ Pinewood Derby

Results are in from the 21st annual Girl Scout Pinewood Derby on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Piedmont Community Church. Participants raced cars in categories determined by age, with a new category this year for adults who love racing, too. Organizers with Troop 33587 would like to thank the Piedmont Council and the Piedmont Community Church for sharing their space and derby track with them. They’d also like to thank the racers who came out to race with them on Saturday.

Daisy category winners Josephine Wittman – 1st; Abby Galea – 2nd; Sophia Chan – 3rd
Brownies: 1st – Ellie Whipple; 2nd – Camille Langwinski; 3rd – Arabella Tucker-Ganem
Winners in the Juniors category. 1st – Ariana Drury; 2nd – Nora Holder; 3rd – Lydia Bowman
Clara Keilch won first place in the “Cadettes and Up” category.
Friends and Family winners. 1st – Niko Kobylczak; 2nd – Laslo Cudich; 3rd – Malcolm Roman (represented by his sister Beazy)
