PGA Tour coming to wine country this week with Americans tuning up for Ryder Cup

Professional golf is coming to Napa County this week for the PGA Tour’s 2025 Procore Championship, which will have the best field in the tournament’s history as some of the best American golfers in the world prepare to play in the Ryder Cup international competition against Europe later this month.

The tournament runs from Thursday to Sunday at Silverado Resort, located just outside of Napa, and will have 10 of the 12 members of the U.S. Ryder Cup team playing, including No. 1-ranked Scottie Scheffler and other major tournament winners like Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and J.J. Spaun.

The Procore Championship marks the start of the FedExCup Fall, a series of seven events usually highlighted by golfers lower down the rankings fighting to stay in the top 100 to earn full status on the tour for next year.

But this year’s tournament will add the top American players as they prepare for the Ryder Cup, which takes place from Sept. 26-28 in New York. In all, 11 of the top 25 men in the Official World Golf Rankings will be playing in Napa County this week.

General admission tickets start at $55 per day and up to four children 15 and under get in free with each ticketed adult. Daily parking is $25 in advance or $35 if purchased onsite. More information can be found at ProcoreChampionship.com.
