Magic by Paige Thompson, Uki the Unique, Timothy James, The Amazing Caine & Stella with emcees Captain Jack Spareribs and Cousin OTiS.
This lineup celebrating the Oakland Magic Circle’s 100th Anniversary features award- winning prestidigitators performing amazing stage illusions, mind-boggling mentalism, crazy comedy, wonderful wizardry, and many surprises.
Paige Thompson started her career as a teenage member of the Oakland Magic Circle where she won top awards. She travels the world sharing her distinctive brand of Magic. Currently a resident company member of the Chicago Magic Lounge, she has also wowed crowds in Branson, Missouri, the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, and many top clubs and cruise lines. In 2025 she debuted her one person show at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. Paige’s television credits include multiple appearances on the CW’s “Masters of Illusion,” as a featured contestant on FOX’s “Showtime at the Apollo,” and “Penn and Teller: Fool Us.” She is excited to return to the Bay Area for this special performance.
Timothy James also started developing his award-winning comedy magic as a teen member of the OMC. He has a knack for sleight-of-hand, reading thoughts, and uncovering strange coincidences that defy explanation. He is a Resident Magician at the California Magic Club in Martinez. Timothy will be joined by his longtime assistant, Rocky Racoon.
Uki the Unique’s personalized approach to the magical arts won both the Stage and Close-Up Contests at the Oakland Magic Circle in 2025. Uki has a passion for illusion, sleight of hand, and mentalism, captivating audiences of all ages. “I transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, leaving audiences spellbound.”
The Amazing Caine & Stella won the Board of Directors Special Award in 2025 with their large stage illusions. They will take the audience on a journey in another galaxy and as a bonus the duo will read audience members’ minds.
The most mismatched pair since oil met water will be emcees: One’s a swashbuckling, rum-soaked rascal with a penchant for parrots and punchlines. The other’s a barnyard-brained professor of science and sleight-of-hand with more overalls than sense. Together, Captain Jack Spareribs and Cousin OTiS are co-hosting the Oakland Magic Circle’s 100th Anniversary Banquet Gala — and it’s either going to be a perfectly choreographed evening of mirth and magic… or the funniest disaster in century-long history. Either way, the audience wins.
