Age: 9 years old
Breed: German Shepherd and Lab mix
Adoption story: Shane was found with another dog after the Fresno fires. They were rescued by Jelly’s Place and we brought Shane home during the pandemic.
Likes: Shane enjoys long naps in the sun. He also likes catching flies when he is outside and also eating apples.
Dislikes: Shane does not like the stairs, shiny surfaces, and barking.
Interesting facts: When we were living in another house temporarily, Shane’s anxiety got the best of him. He jumped through our glass windows multiple times. After a couple of glass repairs and trips to the emergency vet, Shane is back in his original Piedmont home and will never have to move again.
He is also able to detect the sound of someone cutting an apple from across the house.
