Reported crime happened on Greenbank

A vehicle was stolen in the middle of the night from Greenbank Avenue. The report came in at 7:33 a.m. on August 3. The owner said they had video and all keys were accounted for, according to the police log. Piedmont Commander Brandi Marin-Morris said the vehicle has not been recovered and that the report is still pending.


A package with jewelry with an estimated value of $200 was reported taken on Mountain Avenue on August 4. The police log said the victim had video of a potential suspect. No other information was available.


On August 6, a driver was pulled over for speeding and arrested on suspicion of DUI, according to Commander Marin-Moris. The incident happened on Grand Avenue at approximately 10:52 p.m. The driver was taken to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin where a blood test was performed.
