Volunteer opportunities at the historic Pardee Home Museum

The historic Pardee House Museum in downtown Oakland.

The beautiful historic Pardee Home Museum located in downtown Oakland is looking for volunteers to help with their highly rated teas or to serve as docents.

Since being acclaimed the number one tea in the Bay Area, the demand for afternoon teas and tours has sharply increased. These successful teas have been an East Bay tradition for decades. The Museum and gardens are supported entirely by teas, tours and donations, and by our wonderful group of volunteers.

Additional volunteers are needed to work the teas served in the beautiful Victorian dining room or in the garden. A wonderful group of volunteers await your company.

Please consider volunteering as a tea worker or as a docent, and help to maintain this elegant 1868 home of Governor George Pardee, with all its original furnishings intact.
