‘What I wish I knew before I went to high school’ panel discussion for incoming high schoolers on April 19

Piedmont Community Service Crew co-presidents Elena O’Connell and Stephanie Lee will host a panel discussion on Saturday, April 19 from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. in the Piedmont Middle School MPR for students entering high school next fall. A youth panel of five Crew members will share insights and tips on the transition to PHS and navigating high school.

Panel participants will also talk about the value(s) of being in Piedmont Community Service Crew and how being a member has added to their own personal growth, in ways beyond being just a convenient and social way of gaining service hours.

The organizers hope to engage the audience in dialogue so there will be time for parents and students to ask questions.

If you are the parent of an eighth-grader, please fill out this form to share your thoughts and concerns about the transition to high school, and to show your interest in attending.
