Survey: Piedmont Fire Department wants to know how you responded to recent Red Flag Warnings

Help the Piedmont Fire Department better support wildfire readiness in our community by completing a brief online survey about recent Red Flag Warnings.

The National Weather Service has issued Red Flag Warnings – an indication of heightened fire risk due to weather conditions – for Piedmont twice in the past month. The Piedmont Fire Department wants to understand how well our attempts to inform the community about these weather events worked, and how residents responded.

The short, 8-question survey asks:
• Were you aware of recent Red Flag Warnings?
• What, if any, actions did you take in response?
• What you understand a Red Flag Warning to mean?

The survey is available HERE and will remain open through Sunday, Nov. 24.

Your responses will help the Fire Department refine notification procedures, public education, and preparedness programming to better support the unique needs of our community
