Teachers and staff hold up signs in front of Exedra Plaza on October 24

In a final rally in support of Piedmont’s Measure P, PUSD teachers from all school sites showed up in force near Exedra Plaza on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 24, for a last push to the finish line. Drivers honked in support and passers-by stopped to chat.

Passage of the measure will ensure teachers receive a 4.5% salary increase and stave off further cuts to the district budget next year.
